A memecoin launched by the name of Binance former CEO CZ’s pet dog is now skyrocketing in the crypto market. Broccoli is the name of CZ’s dog, also the name of the memecoin. Its price witnessed a sharp hike earlier today and is continuing its uptrend at present. Since the token is trending on the market, the crypto community is wondering what triggered its price rise.
BROCCOLI is trading at $0.05025 with a 60% price surge at the time of reporting. Its market cap surpassed the $50 million mark while 24-hour trading volume surged over 400%. The token was trading in the lows of $0.03141 before the price took off. It recorded a 24-hour high of $0.0746.
Binance Adds Broccoli Among 9 Other Memecoins to its “Vote to List”
Binance announced that users can vote on their preferred cryptocurrencies added to its “Vote to list” crypto tokens. Each user can vote for up to 5 crypto tokens that they want to be listed on Binance. The voting period starts from March 19 to March 26. Following is the list of the first batch of the Vote to List cryptocurrencies.

The Binance announcement is the reason behind Broccoli’s price surge. Since there are two memecoins with the same name, both of them have witnessed price surges today. While the CZ’s doge token price is trading at around $0.05, the other broccoli token is trading at $0.02080 with a 60% daily surge.
Other popular memecoins TUT and MUBARAK were also mentioned in the list. While TUT price has also surged around 60% today, MUBARAK didn’t seem to get any price gains today. The fact that both BROCCOLI and TUT are the top trending tokens today is noteworthy.
