COTI debuts high-speed privacy network with 3,000x faster tech

Token FlashBy Token FlashMarch 26, 2025No Comments2 Mins Read

Web3 privacy protocol COTI said on March 26 it has launched its mainnet, unveiling a new Layer 2 network designed to enable Privacy-on-Demand for decentralized applications and institutional users.

Coti spent more than two years developing its mainnet and it is now positioned as a major player within the confidential blockchain infrastructure industry.

Developed in collaboration with Soda Labs, COTI’s Layer 2 leverages Garbled Circuits, a cryptographic technique that allows private computation. The technology delivers up to 3,000x faster speeds compared to existing privacy solutions and is supported across leading blockchain networks.

“The future of Web3 can’t be built on transparency alone—it demands privacy that’s fast, flexible, and compliant,” said Shahaf Bar-Geffen, CEO of COTI. “With the launch of COTI’s mainnet today, we are setting a new standard for confidential Web3, delivering Privacy-on-Demand across chains.”

    Solving privacy and compliance

COTI’s Layer 2 addresses a key roadblock for enterprise and government adoption: the lack of compliant privacy infrastructure. As industries like real world assets and on-chain identity continue to expand, demand to protect sensitive data and meeting regulatory requirements becomes increasingly important.

The future of Web3 needs more than transparency—it demands fast, flexible, and compliant privacy. With today’s launch of @COTInetwork Mainnet, we’re setting a new standard: Privacy-on-Demand across chains. This isn’t just an upgrade—it’s Web3’s missing infrastructure layer$COTI

The platform is already being adopted by key ecosystem players, including Bancor, Band Protocol, MyEtherWallet (MEW), and PriveX, with more integrations on the way. COTI is also playing a role in national CBDC initiatives, such as the Digital Shekel pilot with the Bank of Israel.

    Ecosystem incentives and future growth

To encourage adoption, the COTI Foundation is airdropping 100 $COTI tokens to eligible users who add the new Layer 2 network to MetaMask. The mainnet release includes a network explorer and bridge, allowing users to easily migrate from COTI V1 to V2.

COTI’s launch signals a shift in how privacy is integrated into blockchain—transforming it from a barrier to a competitive edge and laying the groundwork for secure, scalable web3 infrastructure.
